Retail Loss Prevention

Retail Loss Prevention Officers and Investigators

Internal Theft Deterrent Programs Our internal theft deterrent programs are designed to limit losses by reducing the opportunity for your employees to steal from you. We provide the following services as a deterrent to internal theft:

Mystery shoppers:
Our investigators attend to your store and make a purchase or a return. They ensure all sales are recorded and receipts provided. They ensure returns are properly documented and are only done within the company’s policy.
They are also trained to look for signs of theft at cash registers, such as the use of calculators, register drawers being left open after transactions, and theft trackers used to keep track of unregistered sales.

Cash Audits:
Our investigators attend to the store at random times and pick a register. They close the cashier out and perform an audit of the cash to ensure the till balances. They also audit any petty cash oats and coin oats.

Store Closing:
Our investigators arrive at close and ensure no unauthorized people are in the store after close. They also perform bag inspections on employees as they leave the premises.
